Analyse, develop and act

The consultancy firm Meyerhans & Partner gives business leaders and public decision makers comprehensive support and guidance in matters of strategy and positioning. We thoroughly analyse the success factors and challenges to identify the possible courses of action and develop credible messages and content. And then we take responsibility for translating our ideas into effective action.

Giving careful consideration to diverging developments has never been more important, and it is crucial to act swiftly in response to change. Whether you want to make an impact efficiently with a smart digital presence or harness the immediacy of a face-to-face discussion, we believe in the power of quality content presented authentically.

Meyerhans & Partner was founded by Lisa Meyerhans Sarasin. She takes personal responsibility for all engagements, drawing on her many years of leadership experience in business, politics and society. In addition to her consultancy work, she also sits on the boards of directors of companies in the financial and insurance sector. She’s part of a network of specialists covering a broad array of disciplines. Together we have the expertise to deliver conceptual and strategic measures at the highest level.

«It doesn’t matter which way the wind is blowing – as long as you set your sails right.»

Committed, connected and experienced

Lisa Meyerhans Sarasin graduated from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) in 1996 with a master’s degree in economics. She has continued her professional development ever since with various courses including the Executive Education Program at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

After graduating she learned the journalistic ropes at the Neue Zürcher Zeitung. As an editor in the business section, she primarily covered companies, investment products and developments on the financial markets, and was latterly responsible for the ‘Exchanges and Markets’ segment.

In 2000 she moved to Bank Vontobel, a listed banking group based in Zurich. Here she worked in corporate communications, amassing a wealth of experience across the board and ultimately becoming head of department with responsibility for the group’s entire communications, both internal and external.

Her keen interest in politics then took her to the federal capital of Bern, where in 2004 she became Head of Information in charge of communications at the Federal Department of Finance FDF. In spring 2007, she was appointed Secretary General of the FDF, serving as the department’s chief of staff and heading the General Secretariat through to autumn 2010. In 2011 she set up her own company – Meyerhans & Partner. In addition to this, she took up non-executive directorships at various companies in the financial and insurance sector. Social causes are also close to her heart: as well as being a member of the Foundation Board of charitable foundations, she presides the FDP.The Liberals party in her home town of Zollikon.

«It’s not just about what you do – you’re equally responsible for what you choose not to do.»
